In a world first, CSIRO scientists in Hobart, Tasmania are attaching tiny transmitters to record and observe the movement of these bees.

This movement information will hopefully help scientists and farmers figure out which environmental factors are effecting the bees and how to more effectively work with them to fertilize their crops.
